The NRS vs LLM contest is going to be a great game. LLM is playing as well as any team in Region 1 right now. I know NRS is a great team but if there is going to be a 4 over a 1, this could be it.

R2 #4 - Hillsboro-Central Valley (5-3) @ R1 #1 - Wyndmere-Lidgerwood (8-1)
R1 #3 - South Border (7-2) @ R2 #2 - Cavalier (7-1)
R1 #4 - LaMoure-LM (7-2) @ R2 #1 - New Rockford-Sheyenne (8-0)
R2 #3 - Lakota-Adams-Edmore (6-2) @ R1 #2 - Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter (7-2)

R4 #4 - Shiloh Christian (7-2) @ R3 #1 - TGU (8-0)
R3 #3 - Surrey (6-2) @ R4 #2 - Central McLean (7-2)
R3 #4 - St. John (5-3) @ R4 #1 - Divide County (9-0)
R4 #3 - Beach (7-2) @ R3 #2 - North Star (7-1)

I'm going to agree with EHS1998 and pick Lamoure over NRS. I think that if they would have had every one healthy all year they probably would have won Region 1 or finished 2nd (just my opinion). As for the rest of R1 vs R2 I will take Wyndmere over Hillsoboro, South Border over Cavalier in a very close game and Napoleon over Lakota in a close on.

Region 1 won't sweep region 2. Top 2 seeds in each region win.

I think by the end of the week more people will be picking Lamoure than NRS. Speaking of that game didn't the two coaches play with each other at NDSU?

How does the second round go? Does it depend on what seed wins?

The brackets come together as laid out above. Higher seed gets home field.
I want to see the Divide County - North Star rematch. In Crosby this time.

I'm surprised to see so many people picking LAE oner Nap. I just don't see that one happening. Seems like lakotas defense gives up too much and they've had too many close wins

Too many close wins??

Lakota-Adams-Edmore Season Results
Dakota Prairie W 40-8
Cavalier L 8-46 (wasn't pretty...early in season...Cavalier was STRONG)
New Rockford-Sheyenne L 32-38 2OTs
Thompson W 56-14
Dakota Prairie (region counter) W 44-24
Hillsboro-Central Valley W 61-34
Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page W 46-12
North Border W 64-36

Yes...L-A-E gives up points but they can put them up in a hurry too...
Napoleon-GS struggled this year with Sargent Central (W 18-12), Hankinson...full of injuries (W 14-12) and Richland (L 26-34); a team similar to L-A-E.

Was thinking the same thing about close wins, but I was never going to get the ambition to look it up. I think Napoleon is the 4th best team in region 1. They were fortunate with the schedule. They played Lamoure before Shockman was back and I thought EHS said Thielges was banged up and they played South Border in A. Jacobson's first ever start at QB.

I dont think Brady was banged up but the offense wasnt yet running on all cylinders, he just wasnt getting a lot of touches as they were still figuring out what they had. Brady seems to really have been on a tear since playing us. He is a man among boys in terms of strength, balance and quickness.

I know between the South Border, Napoleon-GS, and I believe Ellendale weeks, Brady was either held out of practice or very limited in practice due to injuries.

Casey Helgoe(Cav) will be out for the Cavalier-South Border game. Expecting Tanner Johnson (Freshmen) to fill his size 15 shoe;)

Game times - some (3 of 8) are now listed on the NDHSAA website. They are WL/Hills at 1:00, NGS/LAE at 1:30 and TGU/Shiloh at 3:00. I am not sure of the process of deciding game times. I am guessing travel distance is taken into account?
