Who's some of the top defensive studs this year?

Cody Birnbaum, LB, Hankinson (injured)

Josh Edmunson - NRS

From Region 2
Lakota: Dylan Eichleberger LB, fills holes extremely well

Cavalier: Spencer Robbins DE, he is a force on the outside and really can disrupt the back field
Ryan Chrest DB, not a big hitter but you do not want to throw anywhere near him, probably a pick 6

NRS: Chance Labrie LB, smart linebacker reads and hits very well
Alex Perleberg LB, has a motor and lays some big hits as well
Josh Edmunson LB, big strong kid, gets lots of tackles

HCV: Brendan Dufner LB, solid tackler and reads offenses well

It's spelled Josh Edmonson, just so everyone knows.

Some Region 1 standouts IMO

Birnbaum, Hankinson
Illies, Wyndmere-Lidgerwood

Dalton Hamlin, Lamoure. Great defensive end. Shockman also.

Also from LaMoure is Anothony Olson who i hear is around double digits in INT's

Yes, Olson is a very good defensive back and Shockman is a defensive stud. There are a number of better defensive ends than Hamlin in Region 1 though, in my opinion.
