1 - Jeff Illies, WL (more of a TE)
2 - Luis Vazquez - WL
3 - Anthony Olson, LLM
4 - Stephen Weigel, NGS (was hurt earlier in the year)

Grande and Vasquez are in a tier by themselves, IMO. I would put Illies with them but he is a TE

I honestly think you have to put Olson right there with them.

Region 1:

1. Jeff Illies-Wyndmere-Lidgerwood: Best all-around athlete. I know he plays TE a lot, but along with being a great blocker, he is a beast receiver. I think when he is at his best- he is nearly impossible to stop one on one. Tall, athletic, and smart. He's the whole package as a player/receiver.
2. Luis Vasquez-Wyndmere-Lidgerwood: Luis gets overshadowed by Jeff a lot. While Jeff has a higher ceiling, Luis can be considered just as effective in high school football. He is a playmaker with speed. I love the energy he plays with.
3. Steven Weigel-Napoleon-GS: I think Steven is a great receiver that doesn't have a very good passer to pass him the ball. He's a competitor and has good hands. Not great at anything, but doesn't have a glaring weakness either.
4. Anthony Olson-LaMoure-LM: Anthony has really come on strong this year for the Loboes. He has good speed and goes up to get the ball well. Only a Sophomore and has a lot to improve on to get in the same class as the top 2, but definitely has the potential with some hard work.

I would put Olson above Weigel due to his speed and athleticism. Steven just didnt look like the same player this year.

One thing that is often over looked is Vasquez's hands and body control. He has an entire film of incredible catches. He is big play abilty is almost greater than Illies's because of his hands. He is more of a jump ball receiver.
