Any particular reason for the Thompson over Hillsboro-CV picks? I know Thompson always has athletes, but everything I've heard seems to indicate Thompson finishing in the bottom half of the Region with Hillsboro-CV in the upper half.

Heh, no problem. Just curious if someone knew something I didn't.

Make no mistake, despite the senior losses they've had on the field over the past couple of years, they'll do just fine this season and I think Walsh will play well at QB. Will be interesting to see how they develop as the season continues.

South Border @ Wyndmere-Lidgerwood -Hard to pick against WL with Illies and Vasquez.
Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter @ Sargent Central -Nappy lost alot, but always finds a way. SC lost Arp.
Strasburg/Zeeland @ LaMoure-LM -Lamoure's size, athleticism, and program tradition will keep them close to the top this year.
Richland @ Edgeley-Kulm -Griffith is a freak athlete.
Ellendale @ Hankinson -Hankinson loses some talent from last year and Ellendale is young, but i think Hankinson comes out on top.

Hillsboro-Central Valley @ Thompson -Hillsboro loses alot of talent and has two of their starting runningbacks not playing in this game.
New Rockford-Sheyenne @ Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page My upset pick, FSHP's line is one of the top lines in the state IMO.
Dakota Prairie @ Lakota-Adams-Edmore Lakota returns most of their starters from a pretty solid team last year.
Cavalier @ North Border - NB loses quite a bit and Cavalier seems to be the preseason favorite.

HCV ran up the score quickly on Thompson.... The burros have some good size and are very athletic... Burros also had two long TD runs by Proznick called back on penaltys.... Thompson had some nice plays... It the burros were clearly the better team...
