I agree CM will be very good but I think DC will be very strong also. Big thing with DC is they return QB, AllState RB, and a very big, athletic and experienced line. Will probably avg 245 on line. Both of these teams return alot of starters. Beach returns alot. Hettinger looks good but short on numbers. Mott I think will see a drop off. Lost a lot of very good players and short on numbers also. TTC and Parshall should contend for playoff spot. Both return alot of players. I think Shiloh will probably see biggest dropoff as they lost alot and are short on numbers. CS and Bowman are both short on players but return alot with playing time. Both should improve as I think there is more parity after top 3 or 4 teams. There are alot of teams that return alot of players but alot of those will have very little depth. That is why I put DC, CM and Beach on top as they have depth. JMHO would like to hear others.

Just curious how many kids will DC have out for football?

about 22 without freshman. But most of these kids saw significant playing time last year.

With the new format that the NDHSAA came up with by putting DC in the SW Region we have lost our Jr Varsity schedule. We will not go to Beach, Mott, Hettinger, Bowman, Center, Shiloh, CM, for jv games. Parshall and TTC do not have jv programs. i think we had 3 jv games last year. 2 with a Montana 6 man team and 1 with MLS. But because DC was ahead in alot of games the underclassmen played lot of time in varsity games.

What about playing 11 man schools or teams in region 3 if they're closer?

I agree. You do not have to play jv games against teams in your own region, or class. Our team only plays two jv games vs teams in our region. We play double A schools and 9 man schools as well for our jv schedule.

Have done this in past. But couldn't schedule anyone but MLS last year.

Was at the Shiloh, Central McClean...... Was suprised how well the Shiloh's line played against the bigger guys from Central McClean.... Was a fun back and forth game.....

Hettinger/Scranton vs. Bowman game was pretty close until the second half, score ended up being 34-0. Things aren't going to get any easier for Bowman when they move up to Class A next season.

Should be some good football at Dickinson Tomorrow.... Looking forward to some of the matchups to see where all these teams are..... Central McClean and Beach should be big as well as Shiloh and Trinity...

Center-Stanton is a tough-luck 0-2

Center-Stanton has a few studs for sure, but they just lack numbers and it kills them.

Judging by a few comments, this region seems to have a few surprises. What is the biggest surprise, Beach over Mott, Parshall over Hettinger, Shiloh over Central McLain(week 1), or another I have not mentioned?

I would say Shiloh has been the biggest surprise. Quite a few younger players stepping in and playing well.

Parshall just got back their main player last week. Dexter Two Crow. He will make things more interesting for Parshall opponents.

Big week for Region 4
Mott vs Hettinger-Scranton 2 weeks ago woulda said H-S but have give this game to Mott as I think they are more athletic.
Parshall vs Shiloh another game i would give to Shiloh but Parshall got back Two Crow. Shiloh in a close one.
DC vs Beach. Beach has come on but I give edge to DC as line play on both sides of the ball should favor DC.
Playoff implications for all these teams. Could come down to points scored against.
