I think 3 out of your 4 are big favorites with the only toss up being the North Star/CM game.

I don't think there are any big favorites at this point in the season, especially with no nonregion games this year.

Obviously my opinion, but I'd say Napoleon is like -12, WL -8, and DC -14.

R4 #2 Central McLean @ R3 #1 North Star - Touted as the Best in the West for most of the season, C/M will be eager to regain the glory.

R4 #3 Mott-Regent @ R4 #1 Divide County - How's this for a grudge match? Possibly another on the way with DC at home this time. Would have been fun to had a shot at MLS and even Northstar, but this will be awesome.

Been out of the state for a few years but I know Cavalier was a powerhouse in A and AA. How has the transition been for them to 9 man? Are they the overwhelming favorite this year?

They have had one close game this year (north border), they're ranked #1 in the state. I personally think they are the 3rd best team in the state behind Napoleon and Wyndmere.

Have you seen all these teams play flip? You just have such an overwhelming confidence in Region 1. If you haven't seen the other teams in question play all you're doing is basing your opinion on your favorite teams.

He has indeed seen both teams play as I have, from what I heard South Border (regardless of the score) despite missing a starting center due to FFA commitments gave Cavalier a good run. Cavalier seems to be a class organization with a good coach and a good quarterback and a well rounded defence, none the less, I do beleive that Wyndmere (my opinion and mine only) will beat Cavalier.

Good job LOBO'S and MUSTANG'S on a grreat season.

They are a Class Organization.....going back to the 1950's.....Class A, Class B, AA, A, 9 man.....They lost 10 seniors last year......I think if SB would have played Nappy and Lamoure would have played W-L last Saturday it would have been just as difficult to predict outcomes ...JMO

I don't mean both Nap and WL. I mean Cavalier and NB, as well as NS, CM, DC, and MR since Flip says Nap and WL are the top teams in the state. With no nonregion games, unless he has seen some of these other teams play in person that statement means nothing to me.
