An impossible post.........we have 40 teams, 32 different types of offence, 82 different personalities, 63 different body types, slow super good backs, fast mediocre backs, fast super good backs, slow mediocore backs, super quick small great backs, and they all fit their offences perfectly, now go ahead and pick one!!

Fine if you want to be so critical of the wording of the question, who are some of the backs around the state who have been top preformers.

im not looking for fast MEDIOCRE back or slow MEDIOCRE back..im looking for back who have been having an outstanding season this year. Any thousand yard backs yet or oustanding performances? or any senior backs we could expect to see in the shrine bowl this year?

Kilen Flanagan from DVE got 1,000 yards in their 6th game of the year. Since this is the topic I'll go ahead and say he's one of the top running backs in the state. He doesn't get the carries that some others get and gets alot of his yards after contact. This young man is one of the best runners I've seen in a while.

I think Darin McClintock from Drake-Anamoose deserves some credit. He is only sophmore and has over 1700 yards and 18 touchdowns.

What offense does Tri-County run; I see they had an average year, but they must still know how to block for him to put up those numbers.

I can name some good true RB's from REgion 1

Reis - Napoleon
Bosch - South Border (Only a Jr.)
Thielges - LLM (Soph.)
Griffith - Richland (Soph.)

Fraser of NB is easily the best full back of Region 2. When we played them, he easily carried 4 or 5 guys on his back at a time.

Opinions arent impossible, they are just that, opinions. We need something to discuss on these boards. Key to remeber that there are alot of home town fans, parents and players themselves giving there opinion on legitimate topics. Dont be suprised if some one from another town posts their oopinion on a local kid and overlooks some one you think deserves the hype as well. Some will post more often and with greater hype. People have the right to their opinions, simple as that. . JMHO

Thielges went over 1000 yards rushing against Richland last week. That is the third year in a row that LaMoure has sent a runningback over 1000 yards in a single season

When he played us he was carrying 6-7 guys on his back! It was crazy. I'm pretty sure he's going to NDSU next season where I'm sure he'll replace Grothman as the starting FB.

Can anyone confirm this?

Also, does Norh Border run a wing, I, something else? I am guessing that they arent a spread team as all I have heard is about their size and power.

Him going to NDSU is as true as carrying 6-7 guys on his back.

I said Region 2 and have you seen the kid play? I'd like to say our teams full back is that powerful as well, but frankly he isn't. No sarcasm, honor ppl's opinions without dissing any players, thank you!

The sarcasm was not on YOUR post...I knew that. I was clearing up the posts made after yours. Your opinions are your opinions as my opinions are my opinions...that is fine.

Yes, I've seen the kid play. He's good, but carrying 4-5 guys easily on his back? Prone to a bit of exaggeration, are we?
