Napoleon, Wyndmere-Lidgerwood, Lamoure, South Border, Edgeley Kulm and Sargent Central are all pretty good defenses, I dont think Region 3 goes 6 deep. So you ave to account for that when looking at some of these numbers and comparing kids. I watched the Kenmare vs NS highlight on you tube and it was shooting fish in a barrel. I'm thinking Swartzenberger and Bell light them up as well.

I agree 100%. It is hard to say whose the "best" when there is such a difference in the talent levels of the regions. Kind of like comparing athletes of today with athletes of 25 years ago, competition is different so stats, etc... will be different. It also makes a difference if you are a team that passes a lot or a team that passes very little.

Regretfully, I am not sure this is true anymore for all kids, some seem more interested in getting highlight clips on youtube than good competition.
newtotheeast wrote:So according to ndhsaa:
Schwartzenberger--Napoleon 80-117 1115 yds, 19 td, 4 int
And the tops from maxpreps:
Schweitzer--mott-regent 94-137 1312 yds, 17 td, 1 int
Hagler--north star 50-75 811 yds, 14 td, 1 int
Young--benson county 36-64 807 yds, 13 td, 2 int
Now I don't know if these stats are completely up to date but this is what i've found so far. Didn't find anything on Bell...
