You've got to think Milnor north sargent will be one of the better teams in the East

Don't forget about Stanley either young team and they were very physical when I saw them play. MNS was also mentioned I was wondering who they have back next year besides they're QB who can make an impact?

Here are my thoughts. I know the West better than the East.

West
Velva
Stanley - young and played very well towards the end of the season this year as they put it all together
Killdeer
Hazen
Watford City

East

Harvey - I believe they are moving east for 2011 and 2012.
Cavalier - always a good program (not sure what they have returning)
MNS - Hansana and an offensive line and they should be excellent
Linton - good program (not sure what they have returning)
North Prarie
Rugby- tought to replace a player like kuntz, but its a good size town and should fill the void.

Rugby is moving up to AA next year and Devils Lake is going to AAA. So listing Rugby above in the A category will not happen

Thanks. For the info. Like I said I am not that familiar with the east so I didn't know about Rugby. I did know DL was moving back to AAA. Any other teams I missed or have wrong? Berthold might be able to put together a decent squad. Probably a playoff team anyhow.

Isn't Cavalier dropping down to 9man next year?

So you are telling me in 4 years Cavalier is going from 3 time defending AA champs down to A and now down to 9-man?

I believe that they wanted to opt up to Class A but got the paper work in late so therefore they would have to stay in 9-man because of a low enrollment

I believe that when they were winning the AA championships, they actually had enrollment numbers that would have qualified them for Class A.

That is correct....the school is not as big as folks think through out the state...they are still by themselves...no co-ops...except Wrestling with North Border.

Linton-HMB, Maple Valley-Enderlin, Milnor-North Sargent, Oakes, Northern Cass, MayPortCG, Fargo Oak Grove (new from Class AA) and Kidder Co. (new from 9-man). Because of enrollment numbers and realignment LaMoure-LM is now in 9-man and Griggs-Barnes County is now in Class AA.
