There will be no way that OG will make it in Class A FB...I don't think their enrollment will allow it either.

They've got OG alone listed at 77 for an enrollment. This would definitely put them in the A division.

Washburn and Wilton will form the "Southern McLean Roughriders" for 2011.

That will probably add another 11man team...probably allow one of the traditional 9man teams that go bumped up to stay 9man

My guess is that they will move Kidder Co back down to 9man and Southern McClean with take their spot in that region. With DSTVE losing ST I'm guessing they will allow either Park River or North Prairie to move down since they are the next losest enrollments. If they finally allow Cavalier to opt up, I'm guessing both will have the opportunity to drop down. If neither want to or only one does, I don't know what they will end up doing.

That's the messed up part of this whole new allignment, especially at the 11A / 9 man break. As 9 man programs consolidate they are pushed into 11A. With only allowing 32 teams in 11A it puts other teams on the "bubble" of getting moved to 9 man. What if they don't want to move to 9 man? Do you just keep going on down the list until you find somebody who will move? Making 32 teams in 11A an exact number is the problem. I would think a range of 30 to 36 teams or something like that would make more sense.

Southern McLean would go to the southwest region in preliminary plans.
