School Receives PEP Grant
Friday, January 9th, 2009
The Federal Government has awarded Cavalier Public School a PEP Grant worth approximately $450,000. The grant extends over three years. The school has received 13 Nautilus Nitro Plus machines.

The PEP Grant covers machines, training, and delivery costs. The school has already received 13 new machines that have a total cost of $45,000. If the school meets all of the requirements for the grant they will receive the full $450,000. Next year the school will get treadmills, exercise bikes, and ellipticals, along with a number of televisions for the weight room. The older free weights will continue to be used in combination with the new machines.

The new weight room is currently only open during the school year to students in grades 7-12. Students are only able to use the new machines when they have been properly trained by Mr. Urlaub or Mrs. Anderson.

He's got the speed, he's got moves, but he's got to have the pop to get the tough yards consistently. Needs some more muscle to be able to take the carries and last.

Lervick did spend the time and is now a 180 pound monster.

Yes, he really put in the work and looks great, unfortunately he has a virus and is going to be out for awhile. Certainly a great disappointment and I wish him a speedy recovery.
