I believe it is Lamoure-Litchville-Montpelier

Just looking it looks like there are going to be some miles put on some buses this weekend. Long way to go for a first round game but there are some decent match-ups for the first round which is good.

Really don't know how Harvey (two time defending state champs could be called an upset. I don't disagree with any of the picks though.

The only reason i call the harvey hazen game an upset is that it is on hazens home field

Hazen pounded harvey in scrimmages at the beginning of the season. Harvey lost to velva, and Willaims county.

i do not see them going to hazen and winning.

Only hazen loss is to watford, which is favored to win state.

it will be hazen at watford for semifinals.

Thats a bold prediction, but i like it. I dont see Harvey winning against Hazen either, but if the field is wet and sloppy that gives Harvey a slight edge because they have a more power style offense rather than speed.

Hazen at Watford for Semis, I think Velva will have a lot to say about that.

I think the only team winning in the first round from Region 3 is Velva.

Never know what happens during the playoffs tho. Some good games in the first round this year.

It is actually Lamoure Litchville Marion for football. Lamoure has their own Volleyball, and then it is Litchville Marion Montpelier co-op for volleyball.

Only team winning out of region 3 in first round is Velva? I wouldn't bet against Williams County and Hazen better not look past Harvey! Region 4 has Hazen and Watford and nothing else! Region 3 could have three first round winners! Also I don't remember who said something about preseason scrimmage but you might as well throw that hogwash out the window!

Lamoure? Upseting North Prairie? Really? This is a very stuff off NP team. If they lose in the playoffs, it most definatly wont be to a team like Lamoure.

Nice slam on LaMoure-Litchville-Marion. "A team like LaMoure" You know a lot about them? Certainly North Prairie is solid and tough. Big and physical. Would be an upset for sure. LLM is fairly good sized and physical too.
Keep the slams coming. Should get even more fire going.

Im not slaming them at all. I think Lamoure is a good team. But NP is good. I was at a few of there games this year and they just pounded every team. I mean the beat Cavalier by like 44 or something..and Cavalier is a farely good team also..but it should be a good game...i wont be attending it though bc ill be in Hazen watching Harvey 8)

I hear u. You are not slamming them. OK. No prob. Ive heard some good stuff about NP. LLM played pretty well 2nd half of season. Some nice maturity. Last game of season was out of character. 4 lineman either at home or real sick before game. Nothing away from Oakes. Oakes took advantage of every LLM mistake. That is a sign of a good team and Oakes is.
LLM probably cant afford to get down early. NP looks like a team that could do that unless LLM has a solid start.
Does NP throw much or just pound teams?

are you kidding me? cavalier will not beat linton! linton is a very solid team with a great coach cavalier will have their hands full with linton. Only way I see cavalier winning is if Mack has a great game and throws for over 200 yards. Another one i don't agree with is the Milnor NS vs. Langdon. Langdon just beat North Prarie the third or four ranked team in state 20-6 and have possibly one of the best running backs in the state with Jon Dinius and a good defense anchored my first-team all stater Travis Beck and I heard they are playing very well after getting a wake up call against cavalier. But i do agree with the rest of your picks!

These are my picks! I don't think there will be any upsets this week but the best chance for road teams I think will Harvey and Rugby.

Yea I didn't, know about that Milnor-Langdon pick, but I'm going to stick with it, I was really surprised to see them beat NP but I think that was a fluke, I'm comfortable with my Cavalier pick also I think that people have underestimated them because of a couple losses, I see it like this, the talent is there and if they can keep the mistakes down and execute they have a legitimate chance to beat Linton and I know how tough Linton is. Mack has to play like Farve has been, the team needs a touch of luck being a way from home too. I hope the Flu doesn't play into these playoffs to hard but I have a feeling it will.
