Everett Lervick from North Prairie...Only a sophmore next season but will get some good quality minutes at runningback.

we are talkin about studs. not second string runningbacks. he has to get the starting spot from michael bonn first

Bonn does need to do a few things to better his game. He does need to know how to read blocks and "go around". Also while playing secondary needs to realize he would be better served to stay with his coverage assignment rather then stopping and trying to leap 12 feet to get a pick. :| .

i wasn't trying to say that michael bonn was so so good. i was just trying to state that a second string runningback can't be a stud like the topic says

Nic pfeifer from North Prairie will be a beast on the offensive line and wherever he is playing on defense.

Does Dan Yale play football? If he does, that's a big receiver to throw to.

I agree with GoSioux. Lervik was a freshman last year with some good size and quality carries. he really loves the game and also love to hit. he'll be fun to watch the next few years.

Nate seeger from new salem IS one of the top running backs coming back. He could end up being the top rb. Only thing against him is he is not 6' tall. He is a bit on the shorter side, but doesn't lack anything on the intensity side.

Jared Wolf also from New Salem will be a top football player. 6'4" 250lb and can run. Not sure where he'll line up this fall, but he will be a force no matter where.

I have not seen Nate Seeger play, but I don't see how not being 6' tall is a draw back. Many of the best running backs in the NFL are not 6' tall. If you don't need to be 6' tall to be successful there, I'm sure it will not hold anyone back in North Dakota high school ball.

Brandon Schell was the best running back last year and he was only 5'9.

Agreed, height really doesn't affect ability in class A. Unless you are extremely short or freakishly tall.

Spencer Robbins- cavalier, is an up and coming stud on the football field, he's a big kid for a freshman and will make an impression with only good things to come in the future.

Only drawback is that he won't weight 200 lbs. due to his height. He in my opinion will still be one the TOP running backs in the state. Many teams/players that still have dents in their helmets and at the center of their shoulder pads from last year. Only downfall from last year is that many of his hogs up front graduated last year. He came on strong at the end last year in my opinion because he was moved to a different position in the offense after the 2nd or 3rd game.

I assume your talking about Nate Seeger? How will the new kids at NS do?

Not sure? I heard the one is a pretty good player. Time will tell with this team. Lost a lot of key men up front.

Not sure, wasn't there. Word is that Linton is better. But not a surprise as Linton is usually one of the top teams in the state. Like I said, NS lost their big hogs up front last year. Seeger, Wolf, Kautzman are going to have to play BIG early in the season, in my opinion, while the line gets things figured out.

Bigpoppakdog - When you say better, do you mean better than NS or better than last year? Region 1 would not like to hear Linton is better, even after losing Purinton, etc. I assume you meant the former.

Also, have you heard if the younger Purinton is following in big bro's shoes at QB this year?

You were correct in your interpretation. Linton looked better than NS from what I've heard. I don't know what Linton has this year...except tradition...

Has Casey Weinmann from Harvey been mentioned? He is probably one of the top runningbacks in the state.
