I would say Rugby, Cavalier, Langdon, North Prairie and Larimore will be fighting for the playoff positions.

1. North Prarie- got an amazing line and a great running back in bonn
2. Rugby- dont know much about them but they will be good coming down from AA
3. Langdon- They didnt lose much from this year and dinius and beck will keep them towards the top
4. Cavalier- Return alot..need to establish a running game can't just pass it the whole time
5. Hatton-Northwood- Had some injuries some younger kids steped up should be decent
6. Larimore- Lose Hager..but always has a decent team
7. Park River- Lost alot but will we alright
8. Midway-Minto- Had troubles in nine-man cant see anything going for them in 11 man

1. NP -- Great line, good back, weak d
2. Cavalier-- Good skill people, Avg line, better home schedule than Lang, Lar.
3. Langdon--Best backfield in the region, WEAK def.
4. Larimore-- Best of the rest.
5. Rugby-- one year away
6. PRFLE- two years away
7. HNW- rebuilding
8. MM- trouble stopping anyone from scoring.

Should be the most balanced region in the state. This region will make some noise come playoff time.

I think that Midway-Minto will be higher than eight next season. They have a solid group of freshman and sophomores that will help out. They have an excellent coaching staff and have continued to improve the last two seasons.

how can u say that. North Prairie's first in 2007 they made it to the semifinals. In 2006, the last year of Rolla-Rock Lake they made it to the quarterfinals.

I believe region 2 will look like this
1.Cavalier-Return almost everyone at least 9 starters on both sides of the ball, and the best Q.B. in the region, if not the state in class A Jared Mack, Yes I said it MACK & THE BOYS!!!!!!!
1A.North Prairie-Pfiefer anchors the line and Bonn in the back field, and they get Cavalier at Home!!!
3.Langon-Best skill people in the region, no Q.B. with out Schaefer, below average line, and NO DEFENSE!!only thing that keeps them from winning the region
4.Larimore-Solid unit back, and they still have Haynes and Denault
5.Rugby-Struggled in AA but were very young can only improve, and were very good J.V.'s
6.Hatton-Northwood-Foss will win a couple with his coaching
7.Park River-??????? anything???? Nothing???? and Scheer is out!!
8.Midway-Minto-Won't even finish the season will fold up the tent by week 5

Between Cav and north praire. Its going to be north praire though

The homefield would prolly tell the whole story of this.

North Prarie will easily handle Cavalier. They are not going to be as good as everybody thinks. They will have trouble beating Langdon and Rugby.

Langdon is overrated. They have a good backfield but a very weak line. Their defense is also very weak.

this is how i think the region will turn out.
1-north prairie, they have a better defense than langdon and they play langdon at home
2-langdon, they have the best backfield in the region but a weak defense
3-rugby, they had a good jv last year and they are coming down from AA this year
4-cavalier, can pass the pretty good but cant run the ball or stop the run
5-larimore, they average at best if they can pull a few upsets they could make the playoffs
6-hatton-northwood, they just dont have enough to be competitve
7- park river, lose way to much
8-midway-minto, wont even win a game

I am not trying to start anything with anyone or put np down, but i didnt think np was the best team around this year, they will be better next year, a new year brings new things and the experience helps, but are they really going to be that good? its going to be interesting come playoff season, lots of good teams that are pretty equally matched
