Harvey 38
Linton 0

I change my prediction. I think Linton will need to hold Harvey to -1 to have a chance.

Are you guys serious? Doesn't anybody remember last year when Harvey was supposed to kill Lisbon and they barley beat them with like 18 seconds left in the game? I think this one will be a nail bitter right until the end.

Maybe this time Harvey will win a legitimate championship. I'm thinkin this will be a closer game than all you people out west think it will be. Purintun will lead his team to victory in this one.

well if the linton defense can play the run as well as they did against lisbon i would put my money on them i believe that linton has a more balanced offense and could score at any minute and with NO WIND to be a factor in puritun's passing game i think he will pick apart the defense so it will come down to who keeps who out of the endzone not an easy chore for either team

Harvey beat Velva by 27, so I would not doubt anything anymore. I'm still in a "akmed the dead terrorist" mode-"Holy Crap!" about that score.

I agree, Lisbon got robbed last year by the ref, and im picking Linton to win in a grind it out game, with linton winning in the last minute.

Can we please not turn this discussion into Harvey and Lisbon in 2007. That game is over and has been discussed enough already.

That being said, I think a balanced Region 1 has prepared Linton enough to keep it close for 3 quarters against tough Harvey squad. Harvey just too strong. 28-14 Harvey

Puritun was the leading rusher against Lisbon? What happen to the backs? 2 for 7 passing. Those stats will win you a state championship. Harvey by 21...

Perfect conditions for the pass. Purintun leads Linton to a state championship. I will predict something like 35-21 Linton.

Harvey will be ready for Linton's pass, which can be stopped. They will need a great pass game to win. Because I don't see them going anywhere on the ground. Harvey 28-14

I laugh as I read all of these scores that you guys are posting. So lInton has no chance?? I believe those where the same words said last year by the same people. You all amaze me at how WEST biased you are. It will definitely be closer than you all think. Like I said before, Linton will pull it off. They have a great run defense that will be able to stop Wolfe. That is the key to this game. Linton will find a way to score. It will be a close game, and a fun one to watch.

yeah it kind of makes you think how thick headed the west is to talk all this trash. Its alright though. We saw where all this went last year. I think it gave Lisbon fire to go out and prove all these people wrong. Hopefully, it will do the same for Linton. I'm picking Linton in a good game (By 14 or less). It will be close again this year but shouldn't come down to the spot of the ball. If Harvey pulls it off, I congratulate them on winning a state championship they actually deserve.

I've seen Harvey play twice, and I'm picking them to tear Linton-HMB apart. Easily.

West coast bias huh.....maybe you should check the record books at the Class "A" level. When the east wins a title maybe the people out west won't be so "thick headed".

Harvey 27
Linton 6 (against JV)
