Pardon me, but Killdeer lost to Watford City making them 0-1. They are still ranked #4 though

Don't know about anybody else but I am interested in what week #4 holds with Velva traveling to Harvey. This is like the old Velva vs. Stanley games. Should be a packed house with a probable pair of undefeateds and the #1 and #2 ranked teams going head to head. I have to work but I would love to be at this one.

What does points mean on the poll. I have been racking my brain but coming up with nothing tangible for an explaination of "points" on the poll. I must be missing something, somebody help me. I know I will feel stupid when I get the answer on this one.

When the pollsters vote, it's so many points for a first place vote, so many for a second place, etc. then the points are tallied for the rankings.

Correct. Pollsters pick their top 5 teams. Their #1 team is given 5 pts, #2 team = 4 pts., #3 team = 3 pts., # 4 team = 2 pts., and the # 5 team = 1 pt.

Example. If there are 10 voters and they all have ... say Harvey as their # 1 team (10 voters X 5 pts.) Harvey would get the maximum 50 points.

The voting for the first poll was done last Wednesday ... well before Lisbon beat Park River 39-0 this Friday. It will change this week.
