MPCG o-2, Langdon 0-3, Larimore 1-1, Hatton-Northwood 1-1.

I think it's safe to say that this region is very down but even this year. it's going to be interesting to see who comes out on top

This is the 2nd year in a row Region 2 has been down. It is wide open right now. Larimore and Park River may be the teams to beat. Karl Hager is one of the best in the east. Park River beat Grafton. But does it matter, whoever wins will end up getting destroyed by either Linton or Lisbon.

I dont think last year was a down year. Lisbon only beat Cavalier 13-6 in the playoffs.

Region 2 will be extremely competitive, beginning this Friday night. Region 1 on the other hand is rediculous. Region 2 has been beat by Region 1 teams week in and week out this preseason besides LaMoure who is struggling. May-PortCG, Hatton-Northwood and Larimore picked up their only wins of the season by beating LaMoure but have been just throttled by the other two teams they've played in Region 1.

I have Park River coming out of Region 2 as champs. Park River is just very talented with Mozinski, Jelinek and Otto. They also kept it very close with Milnor-North Sargent, who i believe will be the Region 1 champs. Larimore just doesn't have enough help behind Hager and Haynes. Hatton-Northwood has been invaded by injuries and MPCG is looking very shaky. I do not know much about Langdon and Cavalier but judging scores, not an up year like last year for these teams.

Are you kidding me?? Otto doesn't do much at all, and mozinksi is shaky at the QB, JELinek is the only one even worth mentioining here! You're just thinking about the basketball squad REGION 2 FAN!!!!!!!!

Mikey Foerster (sp.) is more important to that team than Otto!

No i'm not thinking of their basketball team. your right, you make it sound like otto would just stumble and fall over trying to run with pads on. He was close to, if not, their best receiver last year of what i saw, and if u think mozinski isn't good, i'd like to see you try and go up against him.

The score of the cavalier game doesn't tell the story cavalier had 2 chances to score in the first half and had 2 fumbles inside the 30 yard line. cavaliers line over powered park rivers line, cavalier is really coming around working the new offense under coach pulver which looked very good friday night. not taking anything away from park river they are a good team but they scored two of there touchdowns of special teams (jelink 160 yards of total offense) which put the game outta reach and there line was suprizingly not as strong as i expected. Brunsveld is supposed to be the best linemen in the region but i believe that Holm and Schlittenhardt are much better than he is from what i saw friday night and they are only "juniors". Not to cut Park River down but do not count cavalier out of it the played with park river all night and don't be suprized if they make some noise in the post-season

From what I saw Friday night Holm was on the ground a lot. They are both good linemen but I wouldn't say that they are better than Brunsvold.

Maybe it was because park river was divin' again....and whats it matter if he was on the ground alot if he was always getting his man blocked, maybe it was from a drive block where he put his guy on his a**...you never know.

With Region2 looking to be somewhat weak this year. any win by any of the 6 teams appears to be a
BIG win ......that said Championship for region 2 could be very interesting this year and come down to
the final week of games!!!! do we all agree!!

After watching film of the Lisbon/Park River game, and then watching them play MNS, PArk River wasnt half the team they are with Mozinsky Healed. that was a big factor in their early losses i think. If he can stay healed up, they will be alot tougher as the year goes on.

Park River is going to be very tough. Mozinski is still not healthy, but he is still an all state calibar athlete, and Jelinek is the best class A back in the east. Shell is tough, but not what he was with out the line he had last year.

Larimore won 21-14 in the paper it said haynes had a 76 yard touchdown catch and a 20 something yard run for a touchdown.

i believe the standings are
Larimore (2-0)
May-Port (2-0)
Park River(1-1)
Cavalier (1-1)
Langdon(0-2)
Hatton (0-2)

Big Week
Larimore vs Park River
May-port vs Cavalier
Langdon vs Hatton

Any Predictions???

Hatton hasn't won a region game they lost to May-Port and Larimore so if Langdon beats them that would make them 0-3 there buddy
