whoever it is, the winner will be the first one to 14...two really stingy defenses in the title tilt

I agree. It will be fun to watch this matchup of strength vs. strength. Both teams run the football very well, and both teams have excellent run defense. It should be low scoring, and I give the edge to Harvey because they are more likely to make the big play through the air than Lisbon. Harvey loves to run the ball but they have a legitimate passing game as well. Harvey 20, Lisbon 7.

Lisbon by a point 14-13.

Im gonna have to go with Harvey big in this one. Harvey will use their good passing game against Lisbon's weak defensive backs.

There might be a quarterback in Linton who would disagree with calling Lisbon's defensive back's "weak."

Ya....about that. A team can have the worst defensive backs in the state but if the front four bring pressure those defensive backs become darn good.

All season long we have all picked against lisbon, especially in the playoffs. They seem to be proving us wrong week after week?? Lisbon might be peaking at just the right time. I guess we will know on Friday afternoon.

I think its funny, how most people on this site have thought Lisbon was going to lose. Even all the way back to when they played Lamoure, most people thought that Lisbon couldn't handle it. They have proved them wrong everytime and I don't think this time will be any different.

I'm sure you thought Cavalier and Linton were going to beat Velva too, Lisbon is in for a long day.

yeah actually I did, and why not? Cavalier was state champs in AA the past three years before and was returning a lot of talent. Harvey is hardly what Velva was.

Pressure on the qb, and db's performing well come hand in hand. If the front 4 bring the pressure it helps out the db's (forces bad decisions for the qb). On the other hand when db's leave no one open it gives the line more time to get in there and make a play. You need both to accomplish what lisbon does on defense.

Harvey was a match for Velva and played them well everytime they played. The most they lost by was by 7. Harvey would have beaten Cavalier like they stole something if they had played them.

Lisbon an't a bad team. I think they are just out matched here. I choose Harvey 34-13

The only team that had a remote chance of beating Harvey was North Prairie.
Harvey 38
Lisbon 6

You gotta be kidding me if you think Harvey is going to put up 38 points on a team that averaged only 8.8 ppga all year. C'mon now buddy
