michael i hear has been ripping it up, 7 passing tds in 4 games, not too bad for a junior in his first season at qb, bryan sandy also has 6 recieving tds and harveys defense has around 10 sacks in 4 games, thats about all i know

Mitch Ford is having solid year for Cavalier he had like 350 yards against Park River last week and 211 against kindred the week before that. He's over the 1000 yard mark for the season.

ford is good but the main reason he has so many yards is caviler gives him the ball 30-40 times a game, what did he have 140 carries in 5 games already.

No duh, don't you usually try to get your best player the ball as much as you can???

yeah but dont u usually have more than 1 back to hand the ball off to, i mean look at langdon riley beck is a great back but he dosnt get the ball 36 times a game cuz they have overby so i guess what im sayin is fords got alot of yards cuz he dosnt have to share the carries and 140 carries in 5 games to me seems like more carries than some backs get all year

Well not every team is blessed like Langdon to have two running backs, Cavalier does have other guys they hand the ball off to but Mitch is the work horse because he's the best back they got. If Cavalier wants to win games this year he has to touch the ball 20, 30, or 40 times a game. If ya wanna down play what he's done so far because he's gotten the ball more times then most people thats fine I'm not gonna argue with ya. I'm not trying to sit here and say he's the best running back in the state i just think its one of the top performances in class A right now.

Tyler Staskivadge has had numerous games in which he has had the ball 30 times in a single game.  It is not a bad thing if guys like Tyler and Mitch Ford get the 30 times a game and don't get tired.  You have to do what gives your team the best team to be successful, and that is why they get the ball so much.

I'll tell you what last week I went to the Mayville-Hatton Northwod game and no disrepect to mayville i mean they played well in the second half but if Staskivage doesn't run out of steam the patriots would have lost 35-6.  I think it would be smart to find a way to keep him fresh because if they do they could be a state contender. I have not seen cavalier this season but from seeing them last year i know for a fact that they have several guys that can run the ball well if they need to rest ford.

I'm not arguing that Mitch Ford get's the ball an awful lot, but if he's getting the ball that much and still in the 5th week of the season can get the ball 30-35 times and go for over 350 yards (plus another 50+ yarder got called back) then I think that it says that much more because every coach they play against is telling their team to key on him, but they still can't stop him.
