Now they have to face the number 1 team in the state? Please don't tell me this is just about travel. I know Bowman County did none stop complaining about have to drive to Kindred a few years ago but it is a state playoff game... travel should not come into play here. This is State.

Those two games could have been State Championship games. Now it is Second and 3rd round with Velva having to play no one.

The West basically only has one real team that is a hard nose team. DT is a very good football team but I don't feel they are very physical so the team coming out of that side of the state will not be beat up.
Right now Kindred looks like they will be without Sunram, 3 injured running backs and a hobbled QB. All play on defense as well. And I am sure the other teams in the East have similar problems. DT and Velva have not had to play their varsity for 4 quarters all year... maybe once each.
