Well the Region 1 and 2 match ups were impressive. Some very good games. Lisbon gave HCV all it wanted. I heard it was a very physical game but Lisbon could not keep a drive alive to take down the Burros. Congrats on a great season to Lisbon...
Kindred and Langdon gave was a really good game. Langdon went blow for blow with the Vikings and made the Vikings put the ball up in the air and made them run outside. Langdon basically had the ball the whole 3rd with 3 4th Down conversions...and a couple big penalties. Kindred held them on the 5 yard line and then marched down the field to score and that broke their back. Congrats to Langdon Area on a great season.
Watched some of the Oakes game and Oakes Offense had it working. I still question their defense a little against a good running team... but they will get their chance this coming weekend.

G9 - (7-2) R1#3 Central Cass @ R1#1 (1) Kindred (10-0)
G10 - (8-2) R4#2 Shiloh Christian @ R4#1 (RV) Beulah (8-2)
G11 - (9-1) R4#2 (4) Dickinson Trinity @ R3#1 (2) Velva-Garrison-Drake-Anamoose (10-0)
G12 - (9-1) R1#2 (5) Oakes @ R2#1 (3) Hillsboro-Central Valley (9-1)

Kindred establishes that run game, gets up by a couple scores and then CC just never is able to catch up. Kindred wins 28 to 8

Beulah uses home field advantage to win one late in the fourth. Beulah wins 32 to 28.

Velva needs to escape this one and if they do they have a nice shot of making the Dakota bowl next week - I really like that upcoming matchup for them if they can get through this one. I will take them to win with a late stop 36 to 32.

I think HCV is either the weakest team left or the most likely to challenge Kindred...all depending on what their offense looks like and if they can throw the ball at all. I will take Oakes to win because of how one dimensional HCV looks at times. All comes down to how Oakes handles the physical running game. Oakes 26 to 14.
