I don't think it'll be a blowout for either team mns came out of a very tough region beating teams like linton, Oakes and carington they can beat ya with the run or pass and they got some very athletic kids on defense hazen has a very good running game and are also hungry for that repeat I think in the end hazen wins by 6 but believe it will be a great game to go see.

I don't know much about Hazen's offense or the defenses out west but I don't see Hazen running wild against the bulldogs. In my opinion the bulldogs have the best front seven and run defense that I have seen in the east this year. Watch #44 of the bulldogs ( not sure of his name) he makes a lot of plays for the bulldog defense and he is only a sophomore I believe.

Everyone is talking about MNS front seven on defense when Lakota and North Prarie ran on them. Linton barely ran the ball which is why they had such low running numbers.

That's a false statement Linton wanted to run the ball but couldn't. We will how good the front seven play today for MNS.

Watching game film, Lakota and north prairie both found very big holes in their defense. Both games they had multiple runs of 10 yard or more. Lint on also runs an offense with 4 or 5 receivers at a time. That's not an offense that is lookin to run.

Congratulations to Hazen on a repeat! Milnor is a prity good team. Was expecting more from theyr offense but was impressed with there defense. Holding Hazen to only 20 points is actually good. Hazens backs and O-line just too much for teams. Who needs records when ya get a repeat. Both teams deserved to be there tho.

Well, psycho and lovwatchingsports were right as far as it being a 3 score game, but the game was 6-0 going into the fourth quarter, so I doubt it's what most people expected. Hazen's size and strength seemed to shine in the second half and M-NS seemed to press a little as they felt time slipping away, in my opinion. Congrats to a really good Hazen team on the win (20 in a row now! I think) and congrats to the Bulldogs on a really good season. It was a fun game to watch!

No with a break or two, like not dropping a pass, M-NS could have had the lead at half. M-NS really is a better team then I would have though. They did impress me. Hats off to them! Congratz.

Congrats to a great football team and program. Hazen is a class act and was well deserving of their second state title in two years. M-NS fielded a good team that was well coached and came to play. The game was a battle through 3 quarters, then Hazen's conditioning and speed took over. The icing on the cake was when Austin Cieslak was named the senior athlete of the year. Congrats again to the BISON for winning BACK to BACK Class A STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Fearless, C, Paco, Speed, Nicky, Star Child, Carlito, Dirty D, J, Mursch, C Maas and Nate the Great (aka X factor) for giving the coaches four great and memorable years!! FAMILY FOREVER!!!

Penalties really killed the bulldogs yesterday. On two separate drives in the first quarter they were pushed out of the redzone due to penalties. If they don't make those mistakes they could have been up by two scores right away and we could have seen a whole different outcome. But excellent game by Hazen's defense. Well deserved

The first Penalty in the endzone that called back the touchdown was gonna go one of 2 ways, either Do the offensive pass interferance and catch it(gamble on the refs calling it) or dont and let it be intercepted. thats the only way it was gonna go down really.

Throwing into that coverage was Mistake #1, but ya know what second geussing from here just isnt gonna do anyone any good.

MNS played a good game. they gave hazen the best game they had all season. had they been able to capitalize in the first half it probably would have been a way different game, but hey thats football.

Congrats Coach O on getting Coach of the year, you earned it.

it was refreshing to get to watch this game after enduring the whooping cavalier gave WNG.. i felt bad for them.

I think that there would have been a chance to catch it especially since the corners for hazen were 5'7" and 5'9" and the recievers were both 6'5". It was a big play that might have changed the whole game.

I remember thinking the same thing. But give credit to Hazen's DBs. All game, they were in position to make plays and always seemed to get a hand on the ball or disrupt the M-NS reeivers.

Each team had theyr penalties and or mistakes early on in the game. Hazen had an early fumble, false starts, and facemasks that killed theyr drives also. Teams had plenty of time in the game to recover from them. Hazens discipline and experience won that mental battle. Hazens been down a td and come back even stronger. It was Hazens defense and ability to offensively wear down them later in the game that did it. Maybe an early td for milnor could have gave them confidence???? HAzens defense bends but rarely breaks and had all game to make adjustments. Still was impressed with Milnors defense. They showed some heart.
