Not to get too far off topic, but does anyone know if/when the A Championship will be broadcast on TV?

How can you compare WNG with Bottineau that game was in Aug. in which Bottineau did win, now WNG has for sure gotten better and there offense looks nothing like it did in that game with Bottineau, thats why you can't compare that game, it's good scheduling by WNG to play tuff non conferance games like Bottineau and Stanley. I would just say that WNG got better and hot as the season went on and Bottineau just played tuffer competition in AA, Bottineau only lost to Beulah by 3 pts. Thats why I say it's gonna be a close championship game---Hazen 21 and WNG 20.

Does anyone know why the class a game is the first game played this year? From what I recall normally the nine man game is played first.

maybe they just wanted a change and allow the 9-man game to be 2nd instead of always playing it in the morning.

This is the first time I believe it's been switched, but I wish they'd switch all divisions around...

I agree with switching the divisions around...right now 9-man and Class A alternate starting times every other year, so 9-man will be the first championship in 2013. My concern is the same as above...why don't all of the teams get a chance to play in primetime? In year's past, I would rather watch the AA or A game during primetime over AAA, even 9-man championships have produced a more exciting game then the other divisions. It should rotate to be fair as every team, school, and community should have a chance to play later on in the day. Just my two cents...

First off, it won't change because they media markets will not allow their AAA schools to play at 9 in the morning. Secondly, I like going 9man, A, AA, AAA. You get to see the evolution of football and the jump in talent from level to level. And I'm sorry, but there is no way I'd ever want to watch a 9-man game over a AA or AAA game.

You obviously didn't watch the 9 man title game last year, by far the best state title game I've seen

Nope not the first time, I believe Velva and M-NS played in the morning game for class A.. and I know of a few other instances where 9-man has played the second game.. it rotates

I don't think it has, I have no proof, but up until last year the dakota bowl took place over two days I thought. I believe since they went to 4 classes.

Last year they talked to someone at halftime of the 9-man game and he said they were going to rotate 9-man, A, and AA games.

The dakota bowl has been played over 1 day many times, probably more than it has been played over two. They seem to rotate the early game between 9man and A, but that's it. I think they should rotate all games, too, but will never happen to move AAA out of prime time. They people in the larger cities that care about the game go and watch it in person. The people from all the smaller cities watch the A and 9man games because they are interested and don't go to them if their team isn't playing. If 9man or A were played in prime time there would be substantially more viewers, but like I said, will never happen.

I believe there is no difference between AA and A. Last year Park River lost to Grafton 8-0 and no one other than Park River even came near that close to beating Grafton. Who cleaned up AA for an undefeated season. You also have to realize injuries play a huge factor into this, AA will most of the time have more starter caliber players on the bench ready to go out there if something happens. A not so much. But comparing starter to starter they are almost identical in player ability, there are always exceptions to this both ways though.
