If Linton is down their starting QB, it makes things alot tougher. I already picked Stanley last week, so I can't change now. On another note, how 'bout some ultra exciting semifinals in 3 out of the 4 classes today & yesterday. SO many close games right down to the end. Almost like NCAA BB tourney stuff. Was fun to watch on TV, watch in person, and listen on the radio. Kept me busy. Should make for some great games in Fargo next week.

One thing that I have noticed in past years and discussions is how one player or another is the best but when it comes down to the finals it is usually the team(s) that are well coached that wind up getting there. This year is no exception...both teams have coaches that are well experienced in Imedieke (sp?) and Enget....teams that are well coached can find a way to make it a good game. I see this game being closer than people are thinking. I think this may come down to a big turnover at some point in the game which will decide the outcome...I will go out on a limb and predict that Region 3 will retain the state title again and stanley will win by 8....22-14

Has anyone heard anything on the Linton/HMB quarterback? Is he going to be able to play?

That is to bad. With him being out, I would think you would have to give the advantage to Stanley-Powers Lake.

I feel for him, I hate to see kids get hurt. Hope he heals well and can have a good basketball season. Good Luck.

You might think so but Lions showed they have heart! and a week (almost) to get the new QB some time there. I would not count them out plus Stanley has two kids out also. (I have heard) One being their TE who broke both bones in his leg plus dislocated his ankle.
