I don't no much about either team but I'm going to jump on the bandwagon with MV-E and hope for another great defensive game

Maple Valley- 8
Linton- 6

either way, it will be a good representitve from the east. both coaches are great guys. coach imdieke and coach kappaun will have both teams prepared. Linton has not lost to a ND opponent and the MVE coach have gotten the OL and DL to play very very well lately after losing the majority of it last year. It will the balanced run and passing attack of MVE vs the steady 3 yds and cloud of dust attack of Linton. Linton has a very special qb in Tanner Purintin and a very athletic defensive backfield. MVE has a fast athletic LB core.

good luck to both teams represent region 1 well!

I see this one going to the wire, with turnovers being the deciding factor.

Purinton ran the ball the 4th play of the game and took a shot to the knees and was done for the game. The second qb just was to nervous, so they put in jayden gross the TE and he played amazing

Was actually able to make this. Tale of two halves. MVE controlled the game the entire first half and was up 20-0 after Purinton was injured it seemed it was game over. Linton had other plans the second half. There was a long TD run that would have put MVE up by 26 or 28 was called back because of holding. Then there was a fumble and INT both of which Linton turned into scores and MVE Defense had no answer for the TE converted into a QB. Unbelievable game...congrats to both teams!

How bad was Purinton's injury? I am praying it is not as serious as indicated above. This kid is a fearless competitor, hate to see him go down.

Not good but better than an ACL, I think. VERY good BB player. Hope he can make it back for his senior year of BB.
