Hazen at Stanley
MV-E at Linton

This looks like speed vs. power in the first one (Stanley in a close one, could even go OT)and upstart vs. tradition (Linton by 2 scores) in the second. I go with power and tradition.

So Stanley vs. Linton in title game. Stanley is only one of 3 teams to win the division since going to 4 classes, so I go with Stanley(by less than 7). Great coaching matchup of Enget vs. Imdieke!

My Predictions:

Maple Valley-Enderlin 18 Linton-HMB 14 (MV-E continues their unbelievable run)
Stanley-Powers Lake 21 Hazen 13

Looking forward to the Stanley/Hazen game. Stanley likes to pound the ball with a sneaky little passing game that is very effective. From what I hear, Hazen has the man power to handle physical football. Going to be a very good game in Stanley. I have only seen Hazen from a few highlights on TV, they look like they can run and throw as well. I wouldnt think this game will be very high scoring, but I didnt think Stanley would put 35 on Heart River either.

I will say Stanley in a close one on account they dont have to travel.

Blue Jays 14
Hazen 12

Stanley has to win it all - otherwise the All Time Class "A" champions list will be someone other then Stanly/Harvey/Velva

Hazen over Stanley.....21-7

MV-E over Linton-HMB....22-13

MV-E lost their earlier match to Linton-HMB w/ less than a 2 minutes in the game. They seem much more disciplined in post play.

Hazen will win in the air.

Footh proved himself last week against Heart River. I say it will be a great game to watch!

I went to the Hazen vs Velva game.
I hope that their passing game is better than the Velva game. Not that it needed to be great that game but Hazen's QB missed some passes by 10 yds. Those can turn into interceptions.

how can you make that generalization when he threw 5 total passes. and those passes that he threw ten yards too far were when it was a streak with no safety over the top. and he threw it where no one else can get to the ball except his receiver it just happened to be overthrown.

Just stating what I saw at the only game I saw them play and I have not seen Stanley. He had time to throw. Just thought it could have been better since they are going to win it through the air.

I think Hazen's strength is their running game, and Stanley probably spent their week preparing for that. It could be a very close game, but I think Hazen will open it up by mixing in the passing game a little more than last week.
