I don't know if i would say he is the top quarterback in the state but Justin Puruntin has got to be top 10.

Are we talking top QB in the whole state, 9-man through AAA? Or are we talking about top class A QB? If we are talking about all 4 classes then definately Zac Elgie from Minot. If we are talking just class A, then Jake Tescher sticks out in my mind as being one of the top. Only going to be a junior too.

To put up the numbers he did in Linton's offense, which is 95% run is pretty impressive, think if he got to run a spread offense? Id say he's definately in the top 10 for A and should be mentioned for best qb in the state.

Last time i checked...you had to score more points than the other team, so you'd still win if your defense played well...

That is quite a bit of an exagerration don't you think, haha? Have you ever seen him play cause I can tell you he doesn't have a very strong arm and isn't very accurate. He just had really good teammates last year and that is the only reason he didn't throw 15 interceptions.

Yes i have seen him Play. When i was watching him throw in warm ups everyball was in catching distance for the recevier. In the game the times he got to throw his line didn't give him much time but when he got it off they were some nice balls

I played DB against him and watched film on him. i would have to say hes good..darn good...and as crazy as it sounds he sets up a pretty nice screen pass...definately a top 10 QB

More people would know him for football just as well for basketball if Linton threw the ball a tad bit more

Puruntins a stud, football and basketball.
I don't know if I practiced more than anybody, but I sure practiced enough. I still wonder if somebody - somewhere - was practicing more than me.

Puruntin is a good Quarterback I will give him that. But, who does linton have back on the line!!  You could be a good quarterback but if you dont have time to throw you are nothing!!

Look out for Brent Plante from Kindred. He should put up some pretty good numbers.

Karl Hager is a very athletic kid. it may take some time to get used to running the show at the varsity level but he will be a good one.

I think Ben Watkins from LaMoure will have a breakout year this year because they will have to pass a lot in order to win.
