I think Carrington and Lisbon are pretty evenly matched, it will likely be a low scoring affair.

Lisbon has more depth than Carrington but this game could go either way.

I think If Valley City's line play continues to improve that their game against St. Mary's is also winnable.

Grafton's line is too depleted with injuries to play four quarters with Devils Lake.

Shanley hangs 50 on Trinity.

Actually, if everybody heals up on time, Grafton will start the same linemen that they did when they played against Devils Lake in week 2. They will be without 2 backup linemen, however. Plus they will have Hanson as QB instead. So, no excuses for Grafton. It will be a heads up game and the best teams gonna win.

If Grafton is at 100% it's a game for sure.

Lisbon over Carrington 28-22
Grafton over Devils Lake 32-28
Shanley over Dickinson Trinity 54-14
Valley City over St. Mary's (if tescher doesn't play) 24-22; if tescher plays SM over VC -> 34-24

i am from the grafton area. i wasnt at the devils lake game. the score says it was close. it sounded like one of those games that the score was close but the game really wasnt. number one in the west vs number 4 in the east? a few of you folks are picking grafton and others have devils lake winning a close game. is the west that week. i know hanson was out for a few games but in my mind, their recond wouldnt be any different if he would have played. lisbon and DL were the only losses when he was out. in the devils lake game, the back up quarterback had a great game so i dont know how much hanson could have added. i am hoping for a grafton victory as i am a fan. realistically, i think devils lakes depth on the OL and DL will win the day. sheer size and numbers. The Grafton/DL game in week 2 was close, it didn't just sound that way. Grafton had 2 long touchdowns called back, and DL had a very close fumble recovery down the stretch. The breaks in that game favored DL, and I think most DL fans would agree that they were very happy to walk off the field with a win. Another thing you have to remember is that when Hanson was injured, you lost his defensive ability as well, and I think that hurt Grafton just as much not having him at QB. Grafton's not deep, but when they have all the starters healthy, they are a pretty good team. Like I said before, no excuses, the best teams gonna win.

Devil's Lake can be a good team when they want to be, but sometimes they just come out and play like death. If that happens I believe they will lose. There's a solid chance of it too.

You're right I shouldn't have said that exactly. I should've said that DL is very capable of coming out and having a bad game because they have proven that they do more than any other elite team. Could you agree with that?
