off subject but did tescher from st marys get hurt against devils lake??......is there any players from bad teams that could end up busting into the all region team....carringtons running is one hike of a runner and he definitely should be all region and probably all-state.

Yea Rush23, his name is Jordan Mittleider and he's been mentioned in this forum. He's very very good. And yes Tescher did break his wrist and is out for the season. I'm wondering myself if there are any players from schools that aren't very good.

Tescher did something to his left wrist. I dont know if he fractured it or not but I've heard he will sit out this week and possibly play in the playoffs

1. Ryan's defesne is much better than their record might show.
2. Beau played the worst I've ever seen him play. Granted I've only seen him on about 3 other occasions, I think he has looked very good in those games.

He might play?! That's huge for SM. If they get him back, they're the best team in the west.

If he could play, I would bet he just plays defense. Kind of hard to handle the ball with a messed up wrist.

Ddin't look like they need him on offense when they played Bishop Ryan. Their QB was doing really well. I'm sure Tescher runs their option game better than him, and maybe throws better, but this kid was throwing the ball all over yard. Every throw was right on the money. I was very impressed. I heard he was a senior runningback that they just moved over to QB. Number 17. Was his name Crum?

Really? Devils Lake 38 St. Mary's 0. Don't think you can put all that on one player getting hurt when the score, as somebody said, was already 14 - 0

Yes I know and I consider that. BUT watching both teams play, I will stand by what I say.

Yea I read that in the Tribune. Brock Krumm. He was moved from running back to quarterback with Tescher's injury, and I also heard that he was throwing the ball very well.

Well they had a 50 yard td pass only to have their receiver fumble it on a the 1. That took away 7 points. He had 167 yards on 17 attempts (at least thats what the Minot Daily News said, they aren't always right on with stats). 167 yards is a pretty large amount for a high school game.

I've seen more passing yards in some JV games that is not very many passing yards

You've either seen some great JV qb's or terrible JV secondaries. I wasn't trying to say that it was A LOT of yards, I was just saying that he threw the ball really well when he did throw. Another reason for not having a lot of yards was that most of his throws were 7-12 yard throws on designed rollouts. They didn't really have a huge down the field passing scheme, but they ran very good short passing plays used to move the ball.
