Oak Grove (0-5; 0-7) @ Shanley (5-0; 7-0)- This one will get ugly fast.
Central Cass (2-3; 4-3) @ Kindred (1-4; 1-6)- Coming off big win.
Lisbon (4-1; 5-2) @ Wahpeton (2-3; 2-5)- Looking to rebound after huge loss.
Valley City (2-3; 3-4) @ Grafton (4-1; 5-2)- Playoff game for VC but Spoilers will be too much.

10/15/10
Devils Lake (4-1; 6-1) @ Minot Ryan (3-2; 3-4)- DL is looking too strong with their running game.
Beulah (2-4; 3-4) @ Carrington (4-1; 5-2)- Running backs will carry Carrington to the victory.
TMCHS (0-6; 1-6) @ St. Mary's (4-1; 6-1)- Might struggle if Tescher can't play but will find a way to win
Bottineau (1-5; 1-6) @ Dickinson Trinity (4-2; 4-3)- Gearing up for playoffs and need to start playing better.

Ok one thought, last week everybody said Central Cass defense was too weak to be able to beat VC but this week Run4 says it's too strong I'm confused on what everybody thinks on CC's D personally I think it has been solid except for Shanley and Lisbon but just confused on what everybody thinks of them

I am stating that its too strong after seeing how they played against VC last week...plus they are facing Kindred

My predictions week 8
10-14 East
Shanley over Oak Grove-blowout
Central Cass over Kindred- CC coming off big win is gonna blowout Kindred
Lisbon over Wahpeton- Lisbon has a nice mix up of runs and is too fast for Wahpeton
Grafton over Valley City- Grafton passing game is too good against VC D
10-15 West
Devils Lake over Minot Ryan- after they beat St.Mary's it's gonna be hard to stop them Blowout
Carrington over Beulah- Blowout
St.Mary's over TMCHS- Blowout, Preston Tescher? He's a big factor on the playoff run
Dickinson Trimity over Bottineau-Blowout
looks like the west has a clear cut top 4?

the only game i question would be kindred vs centrall cass. kindred got a few kids back on their roster from disciplinary actions and the freshman QB looked good against grafton. JMHO

Yes, I've heard that his wrist is broken and that he's out for the season. I've heard this from one of his close friends.

No way Kindred beats CC ya so they have had some guys out for disiplinary reasons but CC has the strong advantage with a fast line that is very quick off the ball, so CC dominates the line of scrimmage and wins with that factor along with there Defense

yes central cass will dominate the line of scrimmage but central cass must gang tackle #8 for kindred he is a load in the backfield

I'm picking Central Cass to win, but I don't think it will be a blowout. I saw the Kindred/Grafton game, and I was more impressed by Kindred than I thought I would be. Grafton isn't a bad defensive team, and Kindred was able to move the ball and put up a respectable 22 points. And they just wouldn't go away. They played hard right up to the end. Their running back is a brute. Tighten up your chin strap when you go up against him. Again, I think CC will win, but not a blowout.

#1 Shanley 51
Oak Grove 8

Valient effort by the Grovers tonight against the Deacons. OG slowed the Deacons down on the first few drives, but Shanley eventually pulled away in the 2nd Quarter. Last full offensive drive showed alot of HEART by the Grovers! I was told after the game that Oak Grove played the toughest in that 1st Quarter of all opponents that Shanley has faced in AA this year!!

Still was a valiant effort on the part of the Grovers...so many people that I talked to before this game thought it was going to be worse than it was in the first half. OG shut down the Deacons on the first 3 possessions of the game, but Shanley broke through for two TDs down the stretch of that quarter. Shanley's speed and passing attack broke the game open in the 2nd quarter. Freshmen and Sophomores may have been on the field in the 2nd half for the Deacons, but there were many also out there for the Grovers.

Kudos to kindred in defeating CC central cass had one costly turnover after a safety where the Vikings recovered a fumble at about the 25? But after that CC couldn't do anything

Valley City absolutely ran right past Grafton. Grafton has some injuries on the line that showed up big time in this game. The line of scrimage was controlled by VC. On a few occassions where Grafton's QB was able to stay off his back long enough to throw a pass, he was able to connect on some deep passes, but other than that Grafton was dominated. Grafton will lose to Shanley next week and VC should beat Wahp. So it looks like Shanley, Lisbon, VC, Grafton are the four teams from the east (in that order).

Bottineau @ Dickinson Trinity 22-6

Dickinson Trinity was absolutely rolling going into the last 6 minutes of the 3rd but a giant wind storm came and put a damper on any hopes of passing. Ben Gordon's fade pass to Christian Olson would be the only pass after and it was a BEAUTY. He went up and got it. All around, solid win for Trinity.
