Wahpeton @ Oak Grove - Wahp is bigger and faster, but hopefully a Homecoming W is coming
Shanley @ Lisbon - Shanley will just be too much for another ND opponent; first place riding on game
Central Cass @ Valley City - VC offense too much for CC defense
Kindred @ Grafton - Kindred's D is not good enough to spoil this night for Grafton
St. Mary's @ Devils Lake - GAME OF THE WEEK; First place riding on this game
Carrington @ Bottineau - Carrington RB will destroy any hopes for Bottineau
Minot Ryan @ Beulah - Beulah will win a low scoring game at home
Dickinson Trinity @ TMCHS - BLOWOUT

no way shanley loses....WAY too big, too quick, too everything. saw them put up 30 pts in the first quarter against Fargo Davies. Montplaiser is solid QB with decent recievers, plus McGovern is virtually unstoppable. Shanley by at least 20.

i agree that they have put up awesome numbers. and are deservedly the number 1 team in state. Lisbon and st marys will most likely be the only teams that will give them a game this year. i just think that Lisbon has a chance at home. would if be an upset, yes. last year everyone thought Wahpeton was a shoe in as well. look what happened. i hope for shanley sake that they arnt over confident. there is a reason why they play the games. JMHO

I can tell you two things:
1. No one in Class AA has the talent that Shanley has on both sides of the ball...they have backups that would start for many teams in the state.
2. Shanley never comes into a game over confident...been to many games; haven't seen it yet.

Wahpeton so to speak was only as good as Smith was during the game. They were totally one dimensional and gave the ball only to him. It worked for 10 games yes, but then they played against a balanced DL team that had the second best player in AA (Wolf). Every team should have a secondary option to go. The best player cant always carry the load. Shanley has balance with a solid running game and passing game. Webber, Montplasier, and Rodenbiker are all solid anchored by McGovern who's a beast. I give the edge to Shanley.

PREDICTIONS:
Wahpeton (1-5) @ Oak Grove (0-6) (Homecoming)- Winless will stay.. winless
Shanley (6-0) @ Lisbon (5-1)- Too much depth.
Central Cass (3-3) @ Valley City (3-3)- CC has little D
Kindred (1-5) @ Grafton (4-2)- Kindreds only win has came against Oak Grove; this wont be their 2nd
St. Mary's (6-0) @ Devils Lake (5-1)- If DLs secondary can step up and make plays they should be successful
Carrington (4-2) @ Bottineau (1-5)- Running Game will determine this game
Minot Ryan (2-4) @ Beulah (3-3)- Coin Flip
Dickinson Trinity (3-3) @ TMCHS (1-5)- looking to rebound strong after their embarrasing loss.

How does TMCHS and Trinity go to overtime? Devils Lake must have really played like crap when they went to Dickinson. From what I'm hearing DL destroyed St. Marys.

St. Mary's best player, Preston Tescher, appeared to break his wrist/forearm in the first or second series of the game. I would have liked to see what the game would have been like if he wouldn't have gotten hurt. I still think the better team won and its looking like the Carrington/DL game could determine the west region champion since St. Marys is now vulnerable for another loss.

When Preston tescher got hurt it was already 14 0, so I think the game wouldnt have been a blow out but they wouldn't have scored the way dls d played

If he is out for long their season could go down hill fast.
