You only quoted part of what I said. In my original post, I predicted that Shanley will beat Trinity, then Wahpeton. So based on my prediction, Shanley would have to beat two undefeated teams, making it a difficult thing to do.

I'm interested to see what everyone says about this so called "powerhouse" that is wahpeton. it was a great played game, but from what i saw the better team won. and that is Devils Lake. Looks like the turf didnt make smith as fast as everyone thought it would

Amazing best game of the year. It looked like dl ws going to win by 14 at least after the first drive of the game for devils lake

whap came in real cocky thinking it was gonna be a cake walk. They got stopped first series n dl put up points first. Wahps line n players besides smith looked sluggish going into halftime n by fourth quarter were having trouble getting up. Dl had key passes for firsts n whap could not pass when it really mattered except smiths quick pitch pass to kline

it was a great game to watch. wahpeton did come out sluggish. in the fourth quarter Crawford had to nice catches to take the lead on that drive. dl also did a nice job containing smith by puttin 8 in the box. does n e 1 know what the stickers r meant for on wahpetons helmets???

It was a very good game. The better team won. Smith is amazing but without him Wahp. would have lost a few games this year. DL gave up one big play, the halfback pass. If DL doesn't turn the ball over on downs inside the 10 and the halfback pass doesn't happen, they would have won by 3 TD. Smith got his yards but he had zero long TD runs. Great game by both teams.
