I wasn't too far off on my fan in the stands poll for AA

It will be interesting to see how Watford does with Devils Lake, If Watford beats DL they go back to #1 and where does that put Killdeer in the A pole?

Great stuff is it Friday yet?

my guess would be that more people had dl ranked second or third while some others had ryan ranked fourth or fifth...it goes by a total number value...each ranked slot gets a certain value attached to it (what that number is i'm not sure offhand).

Correct.  For example ... Devils Lake this week, if 2 guys picked them 1st, 3 guys picked them 2nd, 2 guys picked them 3rd and 1 guy picked them 4th, it would total their 30 points.

2 X 5  = 10

3 X 4 = 12

2 X 3 = 6

1 X 2 = 2

30 points.

Maybe he was thinking that because Minot Ryan received more first-place votes, they should be #1 and Devils Lake #2. Kinda like a tie-breaker thing.

The reason why is that they have tradition and a good coaching staff. And will most likely be in the hunt at the end of the season.

i don't understand how you can vote on a poll for supposed standings at the end of a year. that is why there is a poll every friggin week. if there was just one poll, i think i would understand it, but when a team gets kicked around the way trinity did, it is fairly stupid they get a vote.

now if they would turn it around in week 2 and start to play well, by all means give them a little love. but not after getting big-timed like they did.

Let's remember this is AA, heck there are only 16 teams so even if you lose two games you could still be in the top 4 at the end of the year.
