That has been my posts all along. You never know who is going to win. Weather... Holding calls ... made or not .... 6 teams in this bracket could be playing for the Ship.... I am just glad it is a Class B final and not a Class A final....

Great Job on a Great Year. BSM will have to live with the Fact they are not playing for a State Championship for a year....

They were. Until HCV threw 6 handfuls of metal shavings into their oil fill hole.

I don't know how anyone could pick Beulah over Hillsboro/Central Valley. Especially by the scores that are predicted. HCV has not given up more than 14 points all year and that was to CC when one of the scores was late in the game against #2s.

And you do realize that HCV beat Beulah IN BEULAH by 21-8. The score stayed that low only because Beulah was getting beat up (example: a lineman left the game before halftime on a stretcher) that the Beulah coach told HCV he was going to play his #2s in the second half so he didn't get any more starters injured. HCV decided they had to follow suit so the whole second half turned into a JV scrimmage with running clock and 10 minute quarters. Think about it: drive 4+ hours to end up playing 2 quarters of JV scrimmage.

Have you ever heard of anything so bizarre?

Now I AM NOT saying that Beulah can't win, but based on their previous head-to-head meeting HCV would have to be the favorite. It would be poetic justice if HCV were to get a running clock again, not because the coach threw in the towel but because they lead by 30+.

I'd say pretty low calling referring to a coach like that, for a night with that much rain and the game delayed multiple times by lightning if they would have played a real length game HCV would have gotten home at 8 the next morning.

Beulah has the tools to beat HCV but needs to play almost flawless on defense, can't let the RB get loose. In Beulah he had 2 big runs 65 and 90 I think, the other 16 carries he was held to -2. They need to limit the big play and control the ball on offense which they do. If they win it will be close and under 1 score though. Beulah does play their best football when they are viewed as the underdogs anyways it seems, ala a few years ago vs Shanley in the same building.

Sounds like Langdon should opt up to AA. Or are they not THAT confident?

I think most people agree the top of A and AA there isn't much difference outside of Bismarck and Fargo. They only broke it up to give the small 11 mans a chance...

Sounds like LEM needs to schedule BSM, Valley City as the first couple games of the year.
