Well I heard that theirs a huge 6th grader from Minot that weighs 240 and is being looked at by Bob Stoops pretty heavily.

Are you talking just AA teams?

Because Northern Cass has a man child who can move. They started a youth program two years ago and they will be tough in Jr. high next year.

Lisbon is moving down from AA but they have a good youth program and should be pretty good in 7th grade.

Maple Valley  will have one of the most talented group of 8th graders I have ever seen next year.

Barnes county North should also continue to be tough in the 9-man ranks in Jr. high.

The small schools who have youth programs (5th and 6th grade tackle football) have the edge in Jr. high.

Carrington, Wyndmere, Fairmount, Hankinson,  Northern Cass, Lamoure, Oakes, Milnor, Lisbon, Casselton and Kindred also joined FM athletics and should improve their Jr. high programs also.

Barnes County North and Maple Valley kids play in Valley City and has made a huge impact on their Jr. high teams.

When is Lisbon moving down?
I looked at the NDHSAA website and they still have them listed as a AA team.

I know their website says football plan through 2007 but Northwood and Lisbon are moving down to A and Devils Lake is moving down to AA and Bottineau is moving to the east.

So will Lisbon be class A for the 2007 season, or will it not go in to affect until 2008? That could be good for class A football to get more quality teams in the east. It has been traditionally been pretty weak there compared with the west.

(Sorry for hi-jacking the thread.)

Yes, Lisbon and Northwood will be A for 2007

Devils Lake and Bottineau will be in the AA east region
