Totally ridiculous that the Ryan/Velva game got cancelled. Storm was 15 miles south of town and heading east. No way it would have came that way. Minot High finished their whole game and their stadium is even another mile south from Ryan's.

The key is field conditions and lightning; safety is the top priority. If the AD & Officials agreed to call the game then there isn't much you can do.

It was only heat lightning. Still don't see how one team in town plays and the other doesn't. No reason that game should have ended.
