I heard Carrington is dropping their co-op with some small school, and they'll drop to single A in 2013. Is this correct? If so, anybody know of any other changes to the current alignment? Look out Harvey, here come the Cardinals. haha

Bottineau, Carrington, and Rugby drop to single A next year. Region 3 single A will look like this Bottineau, Velva, Harvey, DLB, Berthold/OR, Surrey, Rugby, and Williams County. Carrington goes with region 1 I believe. Stanley, Watford City, and Enderlin/Maple Valley go to AA.

I'm curious to see if Stanley, Watford City and GBC will make the west a better division. Seems like when Devils Lake went back up to 3a it took a lot from the 2a west. I have a feeling GBC could have more success since they had some big boys up front that can grind it out and play power football.

Anyone else think it is funny that Wahpeton or Shanley could go to Buffalo for a 4pm game?

Does MVE still play some games in Buffalo? How about GBC playing at the North Central school field? Those two fields are sure different than playing at Shanley's field or in Dickinson against Trinity.

Yes, I believe MVE plays their four home games in Buffalo and Enderlin with two being at each site. I think GBC does the same with North Central, Wimbeldon, and Cooperstown???

Not 100% sure MNTwinsFan, but I think GBC plays 2 home games in Wimbledon and 2 in Cooperstown, at least for Varsity games.

So none at north central anymore? Played some games there against BCN back when I was coaching in the area

Well, once BCN gets that new school to combine all campuses...guess it won't matter anymore. Sorry if my statement was incorrect...I wasn't 100% sure!

Randy Gordon has stepped down at Trinity and I heard rumors that this would be the last year for Fred Fridley in Watford (moving back to AA this year).

Has anyone heard if Fridley is really done?

Maple Valley-Enderlin is actually getting lights in the fall. Unfortunately, there won't be any 4pm games this year.
