All home teams will be happy in week 7 with the exception of the Hi-Liners. Wahpeton & Grafton should be the game of the week in the east but Lisbon & Central Cass will be the closest game. Carrington & Bottineau will be the game in the west (edge to Cgtn at home--tough game could go either way) & Beulah at Minot Ryan should be a close game as well.

Valley City scored more points than Fargo Shanley. Typically, the team that scores more points wins.

Thanks for the recap, heimer. You should be a sports writer. :P

Shanley had the walking wounded on the sideline (about 5 starters were out) but VC played inspired football once they knew they had a chance. I believe there was some clock management issues with Shanley coaching that may have had an impact on the game as well. VC definately earned the win. Their DB who made the interception on OT that sealed the deal made a great play on the ball.

They were, but they have 2 wins on the year. I just don't understand why they aren't good because when I've seen them play, they look like they have a lot of kids that can play and a lot of athletes. They had a pretty big line too, so I don't understand.

They made a field goal from 23 yards out to take the lead with 2:49 left.
