The best players I have played against: Harrison Barnes, Royce White, Rodney Williams

Rodney Williams took off from the free throw line and dunked on one of my teammates, Andrew Crosby.
Harrison Barnes crossed me over and jammed, multiple times.

I have never heard of any of those guys. What era are we talking about here?

best player ive played against is nicknamed the bosnian blur

I believe he is speaking of Almir Krdzalic. I have heard that the "Blur" has been looked at by some big time schools in North Carolina.

I played both with and against Jeff Bouschee and he made me and others feel stupid when you tried to guard him. The great thing about him is that he was in is such a good guy that after the game, you didn't feel that upset about it.

Adam Weber the QB at U of Minnesota, played against him in baseball... also played against current
Oregon St. 2B Joey Wong, should be playing in the minors someday

Football-- prolly, Brent Qvale... even though that was when he was younger

Football wise:
I would have to say the best player I played with was Rob Hunt the guys was All State in High School, was All American at NDSU, and was a NFL draft pick.
Best player I played against I would have to say was Kyle Steffes all I can say is the kid was a stud.

Basketball wise:
Best player I played against I would have to say Evan Lindahl

Baseball wise:
Best player I played with would be Sam Lucier

Played with and against a few. I grew up in Newburg, so I only watched as the silver fox coached those great teams to the 80's state tourneys. I moved to Crosby and was there for a few years and was freshman back when Rob Stefonowicz was Senior, so had to chase him in practice. High school years there played against and had to try and slow down Hunter Berg from Grenora. Dustin Undlin from Mohall was pretty darn good.

Iron Mike Ditka!

best player i played against was cameron malzer in the Mclean county tournament last year. He scored like 35 points, shot like 10-13 from the field.

i know hes not from nd, but derek selvig from glendive, goin to montana with qvale

played against a few good players. Best would have to be Mike Stowman

The best that I have played against is a long list, however jeff boshee, russ archambeau, joe bearstail, kenny younger. The best that I have played with, just playground ball was probably bart manson, or tyson parisien.

oh, and for football, casey lucas. Still irritates me. kid had skills.

This is somewhat awkward, but I played against one of the nation's highest recruited football players, in basketball. He was on the same team as Rodney Williams and Royce White.

Royce White and Rodney Williams are both Minnesota players. White plays for Hopkins and Williams for Robinsdale Cooper. They are both U of M recruits and very highly touted nationally. Not exactly sure of the relivance of these two to a ND preps website, but whatever. If someone here played against them then I guess. . .

It is relevant simply because its the point of the topic. I know some North Dakota guys played against Greg Oden and the like. I'm interested in seeing who has played against whom.

the best i ever played against would be Almir Krdzalic

Ben Woodside, Cole Aldrich, Chris Thomas & Luke Harangody from ND, and the Dakota Wizards.

tom fraase and mike bahr. both of them are very good players

Basketball:

Austin Dufault - with/against
Payton Tivis - with...may have been the best. he is so slippery with the ball he can just do what he wants. the times i've played with him im shocked he cant get on the floor at SDSU.
obviosuly I've played with and against Bakkum hundreds if not thousands of times haha

faced Kyle Carr numerous times on the mound.
Marcus? Hovey pitched for Harvey a few years back, always struggled with him.

the only one from harvey I can think of would be Tanner Lorenz, is that who your thinking about? I could be way off though lol
