Gimme a break....yeah the kid was a decent player but definately not even worth mentioning on the ALL DECADE team of the 90's. We're talking about how many thousands and thousands of players that played in the 90s and you would consider him in the top 12-15?? I don't think so...

Again - this was started as a Class B topic and got moved to this area last year. So No to Kenny Younger for that reason - and Quinn Austin was a decent player on a good team - but not one of the best of the 90's in my opinion.

There was a kid that lead them to state back in 96. His last name started with a J but I can't place it right now. It wasn't Jackson either. He was good, but not nearly as good as Robert Lawrence.

Doesn't start with a J, but is it Eric Longlie?

Nope Natural Talent is right....it was Eric Jaramo. He led them to state in 96, but like I said before he didn't compare to Robert Lawrence as far as talent goes.

showing love for greg routledge. i think he still has the state record for three pointers with 123. guy couldnt miss...he would steal the ball and hit the three instead of the easy layup. 27-1 senior year but only second team all state. not surprising because chad carlson, benjy jones, and the welstads were all great too.

i remember that. he was just constantly draining threes. its a shame those guys couldnt pull it off in the championship

Even though they underachieved, some players from LMM during the 90's were pretty tough

I agree with the popular top five, however let me throw a couple of names out there. Danny Peltier from dunseith, or Jon Lokken from Bottineau, even Tony Desjarlais from Rolla. what do you think?

Yes - Guldseth graduated in 1988 when Edinburg won the state title. He would definitely be Top 5 for Team of the decade of the 80's.
