I'm going to throw some names and positions out there - argue to your heart's content.
PG - Hunter Berg - Grenora
SG - Travis Kraft - MPCG
SF - Fred Fridley - Watford - (not his position but who cares)
PF - Marty McDonald - Munich
C - Doug Swenson - Halliday
2nd team
Steve Holen - DLB
John Maus - Hatton
Brent Vigen - Central Valley
Tom Jacobsen - MPCG
Brent (Brett) Moser - Leeds
Greg Routledge - Glenburn
Fred Longie - Four Winds
I'm sure I've missed some great ones - but this is off the top of my head.

What about guys like Scott Hanson of Dakota Prairie, Wick from Carrington? Wick could shoot the lights out at 6'9".
Sean Gourd, Dale Alberts both of FW. I think Dale had the scoring title until this year before Tony IronHeart beat it.

These are the first 5 guys that come to mind from the 90's, not a starting five, but these guys should all be on the team starting or bench. There was a guy from Bowbells i believe that played in the NBA...forgot his name, and i am sure he is from the 90's...anyone remember what his name was?

Les Jepsen graduated from Bowbells sometime in the mid-80's, I believe.

C'mon Indians Alum, how can you leave off Jason Haagenson from Leeds?? I'm sure you played against him. Never ever gets mentioned in these types of discussions. I grew up idolizing this guy. Finished his career with almost 2400 pts and was 3rd or 4th in career pts in ND history at the time......he might have been passed over by someone since. I would put him up there at SG instead of Kraft on BB11's list

Good call, and my bad - I remember watching Haagenson at the state tournaments - and loving the way that guy played - You are correct - he should definietely be in the top 5 of the 90's - he was one of the better players I have seen in Class B.

I think you are thinking of Quinn Austin...I think he only played one year at Standing Rock and was at BHS his first couple years, but he coould play.

I played against Quinn Austin in the 98 state tourney. Very good player yes, but not anywhere near the top 20 of the 90's........maybe top 50.

The only time i got to see him play was at the state tourney in 98'. I remember him being pretty descent, but i was really young at the time.

showing love for greg routledge. i think he still has the state record for three pointers with 123. guy couldnt miss...he would steal the ball and hit the three instead of the easy layup. 27-1 senior year but only second team all state. not surprising because chad carlson, benjy jones, and the welstads were all great too.

yes aaron was a great player but he was the third best player on his team and not even the best player in his own house

There was a kid from warwick back about 97-98??? I think he was a finalist for Mr. Basketball, but i can remeber his name. I do remeber reading alot about him in the papers though.
