Most overrated ever.

Most overrated how? He had a pretty good career at Minot State.

Also, someone on an earlier post put Blake Wurgler on the list. The name of the topic is great players under six foot, not "any player under six foot". Wurgler doesn't belong on any list. He was an alright player, but he didn't really leave any mark and certainly doesn't belong on the list with the other greats mentioned.

This list is only this generation:

one of the best; Ed Brown of Crary at the top of list for scoring and before the three, also Vern and Gil Herbal of Alsen

I would definitely agree with the Herbel's from Alsen - I would also throw in Wade Herbel - who played at Grafton in the 80's, and the Hochstetler boys from Wolford were unreal.
I saw Mark in college dribble through a press vs. NDSU by himself and take it all the way in for a lay-up over their center - went through all 5 guys end to end- it was amazing.

scott wolff, nick hall...two very good choices...shoot oak groves bid at two straight class b titles went down the drain when hall fouled out in the first game.......um what about matt aakre and scott walter, both from wahpeton.  Aakre's at msum playing basketball and walter is done at ndsu and started on the fball team.  I know aakre's under 6 foot, but didn't he have the record for 3's in the edc tournament?

The only person I have ever seen to hold Travis Kraft in check.  That's pretty good for being 11 inches shorter than him.
