Chances?

Is there any good chance of a west team finally beating and east team during state?

not everyone in the west lost everyone, because williston should bring back an experienced squad, only losing big named players of Rehalk and kind of C Lynch but other than that the team is pretty much the same and i see them being seeded 1 or 2 going into the state tourney
University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux, and thats the way its gonna stay

Incorrect. According to the stats sheet, South outshot Williston 31 Saves (35 Shots) to 19 Saves (20 shots).

My bad, but the game looked pretty close no one was really dominating.

To the defense of both teams, the first game at the Ralph is generally pretty slow. The ice is very different than the sheets the teams are used to playing on, and the hot atmosphere of the arena makes games a lot more fatiguing. Watching most of the other games in the quarterfinals, they all looked much more sloppy than the semifinal games.

It's more about tradition. Look at the West in Basketball, they absolutely dominate the East for the most part. The east is traditionally hockey, and the west is traditionally Basketball. The more medial sport is Football, but the east seems to be dominating that due to the advantage of school size and competition.
