I don't see bottineau being the 4th seed, They lost what was there team last year and I don't see them being really good without him.
Who do you see being the 4 seed?
Anyone but Bottineau.  Minot might be a late sleeper but expect them to be up towards the top come playoff time. Century, even though they lost a lot of seniors, should be towards the top as well. But Bottineau won't be #4 seed.

i forgot minot , so it might look like this

1.Bismarck High

2. Williston

3. Minot

4.Dickinson

2-3 could go either way, minot goalie isnt bad but willistons defense will be tough but they need to find a goalie

Plus minot has never been bad, they are always suppose to be a down team at the start then it always comes Minot being a top 3 team in the conference
its okay.....

1 bhs loaded need goalie

2 dicky only lost 2 proven goalie

3minot they always pull somthing out

4 willy lost both goalies and from what i remeber their jv goalies were terriable

willys defense is a very solid group though 4.seed? bhs will be tough, their scorers will help with the goalie not being as good as in the past years

i just can't see minot ahead of williston. Nor dickinson even though they have kovacs so it's probably a throw up between those two.

if williston finds a goalie to step in for them they will be just fine because those two they have now wont get anything done

This is how I think it will go:

1. Bis. High - Solid first line and a solid defense. I don't know about what they have for a goalie but whoever it is is going to have to step up to fill Hillman's shoes.

2. Dickinson - They only lost what....2 seniors and they still have Kovacs in net.

3. Williston - Solid defense, all returning next year, but need help in the goaltending department.

4. Minot - Lost a lot of leadership and talent but expect them to be ready to play come time for the playoffs.

This is my opinion....tell me if I'm wrong.

i still have to say minot 3 willy 4 just because if i remember correctly shmidt (bryce) scored 4 i think aginst willy and three of them he made the play by himself with no help from stremick or tengsdal and that was on a good goalie i honestly think if he plays like that all season they could suprise people because in most games three goals should win it

No your wrong. 1 was on a break-away and the other 3 were by Stremick or Tengsdal setting him up. Don't get me wrong, he is a good player, but I don't think he is going to be able to put up the same numbers as he did last year with Stremick.

Minot will have have some good starters next year. they will just lack depth. Minot will also have one of the best goalies next year.

I watched him play this weekend in the pepsi cup. He looked really good. I would have to say he will be one of the best in the state.

Yah I agree with brownbomber. You need people who can score and Schmidt can't be their only one. I can't see them ahead of Williston but I can see them in the 4th place spot but who knows, they could be first. We won't find out till till hockey season starts.
