Huge wins for WF and FN, but a bigger statement from FN to beat both higher ranked teams in the state. Congrats to davies on the first big W, but dickinson must have been putting squirts on the ice or something, because no high school hockey team should be beaten that bad, especially by a young team like davies.

If you look at the Dickinson roster, they are all sophmores - maybe 2 juniors and a seniors - and they are terrible, always have been. This team would not compete with most good bantam a teams.

Davies has a lot of young talent but I do not look for them to beat any good HS teams this year. They have made the schedule as easy as possible for this transition year so they do not get beat by 50 points every game like they did in football.

I look for Davies to be in playoff contention in 2 years with a nice senior core of talented players.

According to the coaches poll, yes, they are ranked significantly higher than FN in the overall state votes. Century is 3 and Bis High is 5....FN is 12.
