I also think he is a good coach. Apparently you have something personal against him.
He does things by the book and he coaches/teaches kids about more than just hockey.

Your probably one of the few people in this town that actually thinks that.

Centralhockey_08.....You come on here all the time obviously are either a player or parent, so give us some reason to think that Bina is a bad coach other than playing time? If you are a player maybe you should practice harder and get better, or take advantage of your opportunities.
If you are a parent then go apply for the assistant coaching job or volunteer to help out my guess is you won't get a sniff because you probably don't know much about hockey.

Lets not turn into a place to bash coaches and ridicule players guys. Remember we are here to support coaches, players, fans, teams, etc.

I deleted some posts, I don't think it was a good idea for it to be made public on a message board, I'm sorry if you don't agree with this. I just don't need peoples families writing me nasty emails.

Nice Job. I agree with you. The last thing you need is someone breathing down your neck about a post on a message board.

Back on track-- GFC is a good team.
'they should/could battle for a spot at State(coming throught he EDC).
they should, but then that is all upto them playing some good hockey.

I notice that they have Warroad this Tuesday(could be a good game)
I also notice that they have GPR in league left.
don't they play F.South again too?
Looking at the games left in the EDC-they shoould have to play South one more time.
they are in a good position to enter the League tourney as #3-

Bina is a good coach! (had to put that in, always do)

Looks like Central and South play for the #3 seed Saturday. Central currently holds the spot by 1 point, with 2 games remaining, G-PR and South. South has North and Central

Should be a good game on Saturday. Plus GFRR-GPR on Saturday up in Grafton. A good day for HIgh School Hockey.

GFC vs south-- should be a good game.
someone will need to get updates on the thread as soon as you can.

this is one to watch, the GPR vs GFRR isn't for anything.
It is going to be(by pts) GFRR #1 seed, GPR #2- and nothing can change there.

plus look at the WF games-- they have the opportunity to move upto 6th? WOW they can't win all year but can move up the rankings.

then turn the heads out here. The West is a crap shoot too.
WDA should be interesting.

I also think the gfc-gpr game will be a really good game if GFC plays up to its potential.

The GFRR-GPR game could mean the #1 seed going into EDC. A very important game. If GPR beats GFC this evening, they are 2 points down on Red River. Makes the Saturday game very interesting, where a G-PR win ties them up and then goes to whatever the tie-breakers are, anyone know just in case? Should be a great HS hockey game in Grafton.

If teams are tied at the end of regular season play, their regional position shall be determined by:

A. Most wins in head to head (region record among tied teams) competition
If still tied,
B. Most goals scored head to head (region record among tied teams) competition
If still tied,
C. Most wins against highest ranked team in the region (Next team below if teams are tied for first place)
If still tied,
D. Greatest differential in goals for/goals against top-ranked team in region
(Next team below if the teams are tied for first place)
If still tied,
E. Coin flips by a NDHSAA representative

WHoa that is a slap in the face for GFC.
played at GPR though, so they I am sure had a great crowd and they were pumped up

Sets up the Finale' GPR vs GFRR for the #1 seed(if GPR wins )

GFC is in a must win vs. South to secure 3rd seed.

Not sure that a 9-2 whipping would help them much

The game was not held in Grafton. It was in Grand Forks.

Oh I stand corrected. Game played at GF.
that makes that score, even more of a problem for GFC.

Sliding at the wrong time, especially with a Must win(to get 3rd seed) game looming vs. F.south.

I notice how GFc's record stacks up.
6-1-0 in first 7 games
1-4-0 next 5 games
4-3-1 last 8 games to a record of 11-8-1

F. South-- Now a record of 11-8-1*but took a diff. route
2-7-0 first 7 games
3-1-1 next 5 games
6-2-0 last 8 games

one going Up^ one going down.

this also shapes up to be a good match up. and having some implications on seeding.
WOW what a great time of year.

GFC will need to stop the bleeding in seems, if they want to make a run at yet another State tourney.

they did not represent EDC last yr. (looking at records)-- it was F.South#1, GFRR #2, GPR #3, Devils Lake #4... And they just reversed at State2007' #1 GFRR, #2 F. south, #3 DL, #4 GPR

GFC's reputation as a State title holder and having a string of years where they battled for the title and made a run, is in jeopardy of seeing themselves not make it two years ina row.

not that I like to see a storied program struggle, but good for the rest of the state if they do not make it.
I am sure they will right the ship and make a run, two yrs. in a row-- ???? not sure it can even happen for a GF team.
