Any players going to go down as some of the best ever to set foot on a North Dakota field?

Austin Richards has a chance to be great.

When we talk about the best player ever category, those kids are pretty special, and usually people say this kid will be playing on Sundays some day.

In recent memory there are only a few that make that category. I remember people saying this kid from Carrington will be in the NFL someday, everyone in the state knew who he was long before he ever stepped foot on a college field.

Same with Phil Hansen he was the number one recruit in the state in 1986 and everyone knew he was going to NDSU and would  most likely be playing on Sundays.

Same with Bollinger and Eslinger.

All the other greats like Rob Hunt, Luke Hendrickson, Hoffman, Kwapinski, etc. you knew were great and would have great college careers but not really NFL material.

From what I have heard Richards has not even come close to his potential yet, so he should be fun to watch.
