Hillsboro, 2008. Beat everyone in the playoffs and championship by 30+ points. Absolutely dominating performances in their march to the title. Starters gave up a TOTAL of 14 points in the playoffs - 4 games.

Linton-HMB, Carr's Junior Season, New England/Regent 96 (Sheldon and Klein's senior year, or Strasburg/Zeeland '00-'01....not sure if they won both years, but Brian Dykema was a stud!

I really feel that the 2010 W-L team gets to be thrown into this list now......granted they gave up some points but look at the road traveled, beating 2 teams that have turned into strong football powers in Hillsboro and Napoleon, traveling to a very talented Thompson team and defeating them and then setting a Dakota Bowl record for points......and the final 4 teams all being region champions with Hillsboro being number one in the state at the time and Napoleon being in the top 3 i believe, i don't remember the exact ranking.

Id also go with W-L of 2010. I think they could have competed and/or beat many A and AA schools. They had that much depth and talent. They creamed a very small Wells County team. Wells County had a great story, but W-L i think, is one of the best teams of the decade if not ever.

Cavalier team from this year should be thrown in here. They did not have a close game all year and did not give up a score until the playoffs. Best team I have watched since the 2001 Strasburg team.
