Kinda fun discussing the NBA.... 4 starting line ups (total of 20) meaning your favorite is the first one listed and so on and so forth .... going back to 1980
1. and 2.
1spot-Magic- Stockton
2spot-Jordan-Kobe
3spot-Lebron-Dr J
4spot-Bird- Worthy
5spot-Shaq- Hakeem

3. and 4.
5sp-Howard- Ewing
2sp-Miller- Wade
4sp-Duncan- Garnett
3/4sp-McHale- Barkley
1sp--Isiah T.- A.I.

these would be 4 fun teams to watch go at it....although we know who should win... I think the series would be interesting. :)

You realize though if you are only going to have a 10 man roster you can't have 20 guys. Maybe name it a 20 man roster?

Yea, its kinda worded goofy (rephrased now) but I wanted to have the best and then the second best... and 3erd.... and 4th I also thought about it more and realized I had forgotten Kobe but since 1980 these would now be my picks. The youngest ones being Wade, Howard and Lebron but they have a very bright future of course.

Also I went with Worthy over Barkley and subbed Barkley for Dominic

Howard hasn't proven anything to me yet. Yeah he has a lot of upside and a possible great future, but until he puts a string of MVP type seasons and carries his team on his back to a championship he doesn't deserve to be listed among the greats to me.

1 and 2

PG:Magic- Big O
SG:Jordan- Miller
SF:LeBron- Bird
PF: Garnett- Kareem
C:Shaq-Hakeem

3 and 4

PG:Pistol Pete- Stockton
SG:Kobe-Wade
SF:Worthy-Pippen
PF:Duncan- McHale
C:Wilt- Russell

I can't believe no one had mentioned Oscar Robinson yet. He has to be a top 20 player and probably a top 10 player IMO.

I think Big -O and Pistol were before 1980 that's why I hadn't mentioned them....both very creditable to this list :)

Truthfully I agree so then I would go with Kareem in place of Howard...which I probably should have done
