What about "BISHOP RHYAN LION BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM" every year they use that at the state tourney, it gets really annoying im guessing for the other teams but it works for them.

ya up here in cavalier we do the "who's ur daddy" chant. we say it whenever someone gets stuffed in bball. you know

This isn't the best chant, if fact it might be the worst because it shows how beaten down the students felt, but in the last days of Class A basketball at Dickinson Trinity the students used to chant "It just doesn't matter" late in the game if they were losing badly.
You could argue that it meant that they had better perspective, as there is more to life than sports, but I think they'd rather be cheering their team to a win.

You're right, it doesnt cheer on their team very much, and also can be used against you, like Fargo South did to BHS at state football. It's just fun to hear from a non-BHS or Fargo SOuth's perspective

I got it... at the Minot State men's hockey games, the Beaver Bunch will chant..."How do you like you Beaver? Rah-Rah, Rah-Rah-Rah... it's crazy when you have 100 or so, tipsy members of the MSU student body hollering it...

I also like when the home team has the game in the bag and the fans start chanting..."START THE BUS...START THE BUS.." that's a good one and I've heard in a lot of different places.

If you want to here constant chants and songs go the a West Fargo Girls Fastpitch game. Those girls and their parents never quit their noise. I went to the state tournement when it was in wf two years ago and those girls make enough noise to scare the other team off the field before a pitch is thrown. And they have a lot of fun doing it!

I heard my favorite when I was at the State A girls title game between Mandan and South a few years ago. In the fourth, when Mandan was pasting South, the Mandan fans would count down the last 10 seconds of every minute. Ex: starting at 7:10 to go the crowd would chant:

They did it every minute, then at 3:00 left, they started "Start the Bus, Start the Bus."

its always nice to hear the lion crazies at bishop ryan chant the "our house clap clap" at the begging of each game and at the end of each game when there about to win......and the your a surburb to dlb and its not really a chant but to dlb they say its not a rivalry if the same team always wins and then to kenmare the "kenmare kenmare you struggle" along with "what do we eat goose meat, how do we like it raw raw raw" theres lots more they do

every time I open my mouth...even if it is to say something like "GO BOWMAN or "DEFENSE"...I'm told to be quiet and cheer respectfully, no matter what I say. So, I've pretty muched stopped cheering at bowman county home games, when I never did anything bad to be told not to cheer in the first place....cruel world :cry:
